The Factory on Grant in Norwood, Johannesburg, will host a remarkable art exhibition on June 29, 2025, from 1 pm to 6 pm, showcasing the works of six talented artists: Isaac Mwale, Alida Branch, Joh Villet, Michael Unga Ekandji, Maryke Blom, and Sandra Lattuca. This event brings together diverse voices from across Africa, each artist sharing their unique journey through vibrant and evocative artwork.

Isaac Mwale, inspired by his father’s legacy, paints modernist landscapes and wildlife scenes that capture the spirit of Malawi.

Alida Branch specialises in ultra-realistic portraiture, bringing human stories to life with meticulous attention to detail. Joh Villet, an Autistic artist, explores nature and neurodiversity through her introspective pieces.

Michael Unga Ekandji’s abstract works weave African symbolism into powerful messages of identity and transformation. Maryke Blom, a self-taught artist and survivor, infuses her paintings with resilience and hope. Sandra Lattuca, now based in Lake Como, Italy, creates luminous works that blend sacred geometry with feminine wisdom, inviting viewers into a timeless narrative.

All artwork will be available for purchase, offering collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to own pieces that resonate with meaning and beauty. The artists are also open to commissions and collaborations and are eager to connect with new audiences and explore new opportunities. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine (one per person), courtesy of BC/B27 Wines, during the first hour, from 1 pm to 2 pm, as they explore the exhibition.
