An hour’s road you travel just to reach me, my love,
sometimes unannounced,
like sunlight breaking through the clouds.
I notice every quiet choice you make
and something in my chest begins to open loud.
What once was tight
now feels light,
another wall gently breaking down,
letting love come forth.
You cup my face before our lips can meet,
a gentle anchor in the softest storm.
Your fingers twirl softly in my hair,
a quiet tenderness held in your eyes.
When my world feels unsteady beneath my feet,
your arms are there
steady,
safe,
and warm.
Your smile breaks across the room like dawn,
your laughter spills and paints the day in gold.
Each tiny gesture pulls my curtains drawn,
and I unfold
more brave,
more free,
more whole.
Thank you for the love that lives in these,
the unseen ways you choose me every time.
Because you see me,
I am learning ease
to let love in,
to trust this joy is finally mine.
